I
harvested my wheatgrass and put it in my juice this morning and I was
secretly chuffed as that stuff is really expensive and I grew some in
my kitchen for £1.95! If you go Holland and Barrett that starting
price of a small bag is £10?
According
to Hippocrates
Health Institute, It is a powerful concentrated liquid nutrient. Two
ounces of wheatgrass juice has the nutritional equivalent of five
pounds of the best raw organic vegetables. For example, wheatgrass
has twice the amount of Vitamin A as carrots and is higher in Vitamin
C than oranges! It contains the full spectrum of B vitamins, as well
as calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium and potassium in a balanced
ratio. Wheatgrass is a complete source of protein, supplying all of
the essential amino acids, and more. It has about 20% of total
calories coming from protein. This protein is in the form of poly
peptides, simpler and shorter chains of amino acids that the body
uses more efficiently in the blood stream and tissues. In addition
to flooding the body with therapeutic dosages of vitamins, minerals,
antioxidants, enzymes, and phytonutrients, wheatgrass is also a
powerful detoxifier, especially of the liver and blood.
It
helps neutralize toxins and environmental pollutants in the body.
This is because Wheatgrass contains beneficial enzymes that help
protect us from carcinogens, including Superoxide Disumates (SOD),
that lessens the effects of radiation and digest toxins in the body.
It cleanses the body from head to toe of any heavy metals, pollutants
and other toxins that may be stored in the body’s tissues and
organs. There is more information but I thought it was too much to
put in my journal but saved the page for future use

Got
my organic boxes this morning and I was very disappointed, I got on
the phone and cancelled but investigated alternative boxes because I
do live in the Kent the garden of England. Turns out there is a
community garden around the corner and it dirt cheap so will be doing
that instead only this is it’s not delivered I have to go pick up
but for the price it’s worth it and it an excuse for more exercise
lol.
I
really enjoyed the gym today and I had loads of energy, but I also
sweat a Hugh amount too far more than I used to I guess that is a
good thing. On my way out the gym my friend Gary called have not
spoken to him in a good while and he was threatening to come down I
told him I was vegan now and he laughed, he is meant to be coming to
see me next weekend and to go to the sauna so we shall see.
Is
it me or are my meals getting simpler and or smaller or am I getting
bored and not sure what to eat? I think I got into a routine juice
and or smoothie then salad and if I get hungry then fruit or dip with
crackers and or veg, I think I was more adventurous in the beginning
and it was actually fun will have to go back to that I think,
getting some shopping form tesco and included in that is nori sheets
I feel nori rolls coming on lol.
